About Us
The School of Accounting at Guangdong Peizheng College, formerly known as the Department of Accounting, was established in 1995 and is one of the university’s earliest academic units, boasting a history of nearly 30 years. In 2012, we passed the Ministry of Education’s teaching qualification assessment for newly established undergraduate institutions, and in 2019, we successfully completed the Ministry of Education’s review and assessment of undergraduate teaching.
We adhere to an applied, finance-focused educational approach, rooted in Guangdong and oriented towards the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is committed to cultivating high-calibre, applied professionals who meet the needs of socialist market economy development, possess humanistic values, scientific literacy and integrity, and are capable of undertaking accounting, financial management, auditing and related roles in enterprises, public institutions and relevant government departments.The College practices an educational philosophy of “high quality, strong specialization, deep integration and distinctive characteristics”. It currently offers three undergraduate programs—Accounting, Financial Management and Auditing—and has a student body of over 2,800.

School Teaching Faculty Excellence
Our school currently employs 93 staff members, including 80 full-time lecturers. Among the full-time lecturers, 9 hold senior professional titles (associate professor or above) and 22 hold intermediate titles; 76 hold master’s degrees or higher, accounting for 92.3% of the full-time teaching staff; and 20 are dual-qualified teachers (possessing both academic and practical expertise), representing 25.6% of the total. The School boasts two recipients of the ‘Outstanding Teacher of South Guangdong’ award and one recipient of the ‘National Outstanding Teacher’ award.
The College Party Committee firmly upholds the socialist orientation of education. It comprises one staff Party branch and two student Party branches, and actively promotes the comprehensive reform of ‘all-round education’. In 2022, it was recognised as an Advanced Grassroots Party Organization by the university. The average employment rate for graduates over the past three years has exceeded 94%.
Program Offerings and Educational Characteristics
Our school comprises the Department of Accounting, the Department of Financial Management and the Department of Auditing, all of which award Bachelor of Management degrees. It also houses a Practical Teaching Centre, the SME Finance Research Institute and the Kingdee Intelligent Finance Industry Academy.
Accounting (University-level First-class Undergraduate Program, approved in 2024):Rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this program cultivates high-calibre, versatile and application-oriented professionals who are well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labour education, and who possess a sense of national and social responsibility, sound moral character and a strong sense of social responsibility.Students acquire a solid foundation in general knowledge and specialized accounting theory, enabling them to utilize AI and big data tools to analyse and address complex issues such as financial accounting, tax filing and business-finance data integration. They are capable of independently undertaking core tasks including comprehensive bookkeeping, financial software operation and data visualization.The Program aligns with the demands of the digital economy, offering industry-academia integration courses such as ‘RPA Robotics’, ‘Intelligent Financial Shared Services’ and ‘Financial Big Data Analysis and Decision-Making’. It emphasizes the integration of coursework and professional certification, with a pass rate of over 85% for the Junior Accountant qualification. Graduates primarily work in small and medium-sized enterprises within the manufacturing, modern service and information technology sectors, engaging in intelligent accounting, financial analysis, management accounting and tax management, and progressing to roles such as Finance Manager, Financial Analysis Manager or Financial Digitalisation Consultant.
Finance Management (Provincial Key Discipline, University-level First-class Undergraduate Program, approved in 2019): This program is geared towards modern manufacturing and service industries, cultivating high-calibre, versatile professionals with a scientific spirit, humanistic values, an international outlook and an awareness of AI ethics. It provides a solid academic foundation, emphasizing AI-driven information processing and big data analysis capabilities, whilst strengthening students’ ability to utilize intelligent tools to solve complex financial management problems. This program also fosters comprehensive qualities such as systems thinking, critical thinking, teamwork and lifelong learning.Through in-depth collaboration with Kingdee, the Program offers digital and intelligent courses such as ‘Applications of Python in Financial Management’ and ‘Financial Big Data Analysis and Decision-Making’, with a particular emphasis on financial analysis, capital operations, and investment and financing management practices. Graduates are equipped to excel in roles within the fields of intelligent finance, financial analysis, and investment and financing management, and to develop into key professionals in the financial management sector.
Auditing (University-level First-class Undergraduate Program, approved in 2025): Cultivating high-calibre, versatile professionals with a solid theoretical foundation in auditing, as well as capabilities in AI and big data audit analysis. Graduates possess a scientific spirit, humanistic sensibilities, an international outlook and strong professional ethics.The program emphasizes the use of AI tools and intelligent methodologies to resolve complex issues encountered in roles such as certified public accountant (CPA) auditing and internal auditing, whilst strengthening communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills. The curriculum incorporates cutting-edge content such as intelligent auditing and big data auditing, and features an auditing big data training laboratory equipped with advanced facilities including a big data risk control platform. Graduates primarily enter the service sector, such as accounting firms, to engage in intelligent auditing, big data auditing and internal auditing, where they continue to develop their careers.
Deep Integration of Industry and Education
Our school adopts industry-education integration as its core strategy and has established a comprehensive off-campus practical teaching network. As of May 2026, there are over 120 industry-university cooperation internship bases, including one provincial-level base.
Kingdee Intelligent Finance Industry College: Our school has established a deep partnership with Guangdong Baijie Education Investment Co., Ltd. and Kingdee Software Co., Ltd. to jointly build this industry college, achieving results in six key areas: completed a resource repository comprising seven industry-specific courses; initiated one research project commissioned by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance; secured approval for five Ministry of Education industry-academia collaboration projects and three Ministry of Education supply-demand matching employment training projects; obtained four computer software copyrights; co-authored multiple applied textbooks through industry-university partnerships; and appointed 25 external industry mentors.
Strategic Partnerships: In 2023, the Academy joined the Kingdee Digital Finance Industry-Education Integration Consortium and inaugurated a practice centre; in the same year, it became a council member of the National Digital and Intelligent Finance Industry-Education Integration Consortium. In 2025, the Academy became a Kingdee Joint Training Base for Enterprise Digital Talent.
Industry-University Co-education Model: We have established a collaborative education model based on the principle of ‘going out and bringing in’. It has co-developed and co-taught four courses with industry partners (RPA Robotics, Intelligent Financial Shared Services, Financial Big Data Analysis and Decision-Making, and Applications of Python in Financial Management), whilst seven additional courses have benefited from a shared industry-enterprise course resource repository.
Career Outcomes and Funding: Through in-depth industry-education integration, students acquire practical professional skills in fields such as intelligent finance and big data auditing. The average graduate employment rate over the past three years has exceeded 94%. Achievements in industry-academia-research collaboration have been significant, with a total of eight industry-academia cooperation projects approved by the Ministry of Education.
Global Cooperation and Partnerships
Our school places great emphasis on cultivating students’ international perspectives. We currently have 17 full-time lecturers with over one year of work or study experience abroad, accounting for 22% of the total full-time teaching staff; there are also six lecturers currently pursuing doctoral degrees overseas.
Our school actively incorporates advanced international educational philosophies, fully implementing the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) approach and establishing a teaching evaluation system centred on student learning outcomes. We are actively pursuing international accreditation from the ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs). The accreditation process for the Accounting and Financial Management Programs is well underway, with key tasks such as the review of faculty CVs, the refinement of syllabuses, and the definition of Program objectives having been completed.
Leveraging the university’s international exchange and cooperation platforms, we provide students with opportunities for study abroad, overseas academic visits and postgraduate study abroad, whilst ensuring seamless course alignment, credit transfer and postgraduate application support.
Academic Achievements
Discipline and Program Development: The Financial Management Program is a university-level first-class undergraduate Program (approved in 2019); the Accounting Program is a university-level first-class undergraduate Program (approved in 2024); and the Auditing Program is a university-level first-class undergraduate Program (approved in 2025). The School offers three provincial-level first-class courses and one provincial-level model course for integrating ideology and politics into teaching.
Research Achievements: Over the past three years, faculty members have led nine research projects at the municipal or departmental level and above, as well as over 50 university-level research projects; they have led 13 teaching reform projects at the municipal or departmental level and above, and 92 university-level quality engineering and teaching reform projects; they have published over 200 papers, including three in Peking University Core Journals.
Teaching Achievement Awards: The School received the Second Prize in the University Teaching Achievement Awards in 2021 and the First Prize in [2023.In](2023.In) 2025, the teaching achievement titled ‘Value-led, Industry-Education Integration, Digital and Intelligent Empowerment: Reform and Practice of the Talent Cultivation Model for Applied Intelligent Finance’, led by Professor Tan Hongyi and jointly completed with Kingdee Jingyi and Guangdong Baijie, was awarded the Second Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Education and Teaching Achievement Award (Higher Education Undergraduate Category).
Achievements in Course-based Ideological and Political Education: From 2021 to May 2025, the School secured funding for two municipal-level projects and over 20 university-level projects related to course-based ideological and political education. In 2024, two teaching teams were recognised as university-level outstanding teams for course-based ideological and political education. Two lecturers were named ‘Distinguished Teachers in Course-based Ideological and Political Education’.
Textbook Development: Over the past five years, three textbooks have been published (by Tsinghua University Press). The School has secured three university-level digital textbook projects, one distinctive textbook project and two standard textbook projects.
Facilities and Laboratories
Our School attaches great importance to the development of practical teaching facilities. During the 2022–2023 academic year, five laboratory construction projects were approved. Currently, we operate eight specialised training laboratories, with a total investment of 15 million yuan, forming a comprehensive practical teaching platform system:
Business-Finance Integration Training Room (C503): Utilising virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to replicate authentic corporate business processes, equipped with the Kingdee Cloud Starry Sky platform and 60 student computers.
Intelligent Finance Training Room (C504): Equipped with an intelligent finance training platform and the Kingdee EAS platform, this facility supports teaching for courses such as Intelligent Finance and Financial Shared Services.
Intelligent Tax and Accounting Agency Centre (C505): A physical agency base co-established by the college and industry partners, introducing real corporate financial operations to enable students to handle ‘real accounts in practice’, thereby achieving the principle of ‘on-campus training as on-the-job experience’.
Management Accounting Training Room (C506): Equipped with a group management accounting platform, this facility cultivates students’ capabilities in business analysis and decision support.
Financial Shared Services Training Room (C508): Replicates the operational processes of a real-world corporate financial shared services centre and supports teaching for cutting-edge courses such as ‘RPA Robotics’.
Audit Big Data Training Room (C509): Equipped with a big data risk control platform, this facility develops students’ ability to utilise big data technologies for audit analysis.
Financial Big Data Training Lab (C514): Equipped with Kingdee Cloud Starry Sky and the Light Analysis Platform, this lab cultivates students’ ability to make data-driven financial decisions.
AI Intelligent Tax and Accounting Agency Centre: Incorporating real corporate accounts and senior mentors, this centre develops intelligent tax and accounting courses and builds an educational platform integrating ‘positions, courses, certifications and competitions’.
School of Accounting Showcase Hall (C515): This space showcases the school’s history, teaching achievements, industry-academia collaborations and students’ competition results.
Furthermore, Our school is fully advancing the integration of information technology with teaching; all lecturers have completed the construction of course resource repositories on the Chaoxing Learning Pass platform, with blended online and offline teaching coverage exceeding 95%.
